All throughout the scriptures, we learn that effective prayer (prayers that are answered by God 100% of the time) are those that comply with the following principles: 1- Before asking anything Praise and Worship God, along with thanksgiving. 2 Ask in faith 3- Ask earnestly 4-Have biblical grounds on your petition 5) Ask in the name of Jesus.
Although this is all true there are two three things that could hinder your prayer: Unbelieve, Unforgiveness and..... God's will!
In this blog we will focus on the last one, God's will.
The only possible way that God will not give you what you ask for even after complying with all the biblical and spiritual statues in the word of God, is because what God has for you is so much greater for you, so much pleasant, and so perfect that God will not alllow himself to give you any less than that.
It's like a 18 year old who asks his parents for a scooter to go to school and work. The guy could be a great son and a faithful man of God, but if their parents could afford a brand new BMW would't that be much better and safer for him?
Although this is an obvious exam-ple many of us are asking for left overs when God's intentions is to give us the best meal!
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, once ask our Heavenly Father for something that was denied! Now we are not talking about some special-super-annointed Pastor, Apostol or Rabbi here, we are talking about the son of God and God himself! how could he be denied anything? Is so what and Why?
"And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed saying, Oh my father, if it be possible Let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will but though wilt" Matthew 26:39
Could The Heavenly Father have granted the wishes of his one beloved and beggotten son? of course! However, God the Father knew that the best for him and humanity was for him to go throught the ultimate and most painful sacrifice, crucifixion followed by the the depth of hell, in other words, pain and suffering beyond measure. However, Jesus Christ realizes it is better for him to do that, because the glory that he were to receive after was far beyond the temporary-although painful suffering. Now he is seated on the highest throne next to the Father, his name is above all name, all the nations shall bow to him, he wil be praise for eternity, he has received the highest honor, the Glory, the creation, eternity, heavens, Heall and Earth belongs to him!
So next time you pray for somethig believe it is done in the name of Jesus! he went through all that so you could have abundance and fullfillment in EVERY area of your life and over every circumstance. However in the rare case yur prayer is not answered as you please, just know God dosen't want to give you the left over, he wants to you the very BEST!
In the name of Jesus, Amen!
